AI Fan Engagement and Audience Generated Sports Content Digital Product Design
An ad monetized digital product to engage sports fans and leverage audience generated content

Sports licensing is increasingly challenging as we speak. Sports networks can’t always afford to license all the franchises and events their audience would like to watch.

As a result of a media and entertainment territory planning, I've developed a digital transformation vision for the sports licensing challenges and pitched this vision to the head of sports content at a large paid TV sports network. As a result of this pitch a subsequent session was arranged with the participation of the head of marketing where I've elaborated the vision and valur proposition of a digital product.

To demonstrate the potential of combined technology capabilities and partners ecosystem, I’ve designed a digital product concept that would allow this major sports network to engage their audiences while increasing the ad inventory and leveraging audience generated content.

This digital product would provide the sports network, amongst other benefits:

  • Engage the audience even though they're watching the match through a competitor broadcast or even at the stadium

  • Leverage audience generated content to enrich digital channels and post match analysis programs

  • Transform fans expressions in social media into insightful information to support editorial platforms, journalists and program presenters and commentators.

  • Scale the audience engagement through Sports Oracle, an AI based character fed with tons of sports history, facts and statistics
