An Edge Cloud Business and Architecture Design for Industrial Plants Offering.

From the requirements of a mining company, I led three business units and 2 external partners towards de business and technology architecture required to implement a multi-cloud solution that can make industrial workers safer in real time and predict incidents.

I led the entire solution architecture design and feasibility validation, coordinating teams from India, Canada and Brazil that spanned from lab development to external edge computing detection devices LoRa and private LTE providers and technical pre sales and delivery teams while coordinating efforts with sales cost and price cases.

Lack of communications technologies on industrial plants demand a complex combination of possible detection, network and integration systems. I've developed a reference architecture, where operations plant based patterns could be created considering financial and technical feasibility parameters.

Each plant can raise many use cases to be covered. A combination of detection, network and integration would only be possible on a cased based feasibility analisys.

I led the cocreation and priorization of several use case analisys orchestrating customer, partners and business units teams.

Detailed integration patterns were necessary to properly visualize the boundaries and flows between edge, on premises, private cloud and public cloud environments.
